In the case study, talks about a young person who have been admitted to the mental health unit, who is experiencing a serious stress and anxiety. The context in which an individual lives is of great importance on health status and quality of life. Health is maintained and improved through the advancement and application of health science and through the efforts and suitable lifestyle choices of the individual. According to the World Health Organisation, the main determinants of health include the social and economic environment, the physical environment, and the person s individual characteristics and behaviors. The physical aspect of stress and anxiety could be: ï ¶ Shacking ï ¶ Sweating ï ¶ Heart palpitation ï ¶ Difficulty breathing ï ¶ Muscle pain and body aches ï ¶ Headache and feeling of tensions. The emotion aspect of stress and anxiety: ï ¶ Sad ï ¶ Irradiant ï ¶ Scared ï ¶ Suspicions ï ¶ Tiredness ï ¶ Fatigue Social aspect: ï ¶ Improving and creating good network of people ï ¶ Being able to adopt in society ï ¶ ï ¶ Avoiding deprived neighborhoods Physical health is connected to mental and emotional health. Taking care of our body is a powerful first step towards mental and emotional health. The mind and the body are linked. Improving physical health, in general can increase mental and emotional well-being. For example, exercise not only strengthens the heart and lungs, but also releases endorphins, powerful chemicals that energies and lift your mood. Furthermore, engaging activities in daily basis and choices you make affect the way a person would feel physically and emotionally. Getting enough sleep and rest is ideal in order to maintain good physical and mental wellbeing. Likewise, exercising will to relieve stress and anxiety while and lifting the mood.
